About The Owner

Brian Behrens was born in Burlington, Wisconsin, and has accumulated over 10,000 flight hours and a vast range of experience in the aviation industry. Beginning his career at American Champion Aircraft, where he helped build Citabria and Decathlon airplanes, Brian graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Studies. He also earned minors in Meteorology, Air Traffic Control, and Aviation Business Administration.

After graduating, he worked at Burlington Municipal Airport as a flight instructor. In 1996, Brian, along with his father Lonnie, started Spring City Aviation. The humble beginnings of the company included just two airplanes: a Cessna 150, N6811G, and a Citabria, N1633G.

In 1998, Brian began flying for Skyway Airlines, working as a Beech 1900 Captain and Check Airman. He was then hired by Midwest Airlines in 2000 as a First Officer in the Mcdonnell-Douglas MD80. In 2001, Lonnie Behrens retired from flying with over 20,000 hours; Brian continues to run Spring City while still flying for Midwest Airlines.

Spring City Aviation is dedicated to providing exemplary flight instruction and service to its customers, with flight training for the Sport, Recreational and Private pilot certificates up through the Multi-Engine Instructor rating. Give us a call or stop by, and let us help you become a pilot!
